Howdy! My name’s Hunter Arias, I’m an audio engineer, entrepreneur, and local music advocate from Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.

I run Compass Recordings, a semi-migratory recording studio where I provide tracking, mixing, mastering, and musical consultation.

Apart from 8 years in audio engineering, I’m also classically trained in piano, rock guitar, and love to play ham-fisted drums.

Whether you’re looking to execute an entire project from sound source to final mix, or you just need vocals tracked or some guitar reamping, I’m here to add a second ear and maybe a little magic to your project.

Lil’ Portfolio

I’ve had many recording and mixing projects released on streaming! Here are a few of those tracks.

I primarily focus on the genres of rock, folk, acoustic/singer-songwriter, and metal. But when it comes to mixing I’m a jack of all trades! I’ve mixed many hip-hop/rap tracks, but this playlist strictly consists of released material that features my work as a recording AND mixing engineer.
